AAA: Activates Tow to Go During 2026 NCAA Men’s College World Series
Program helps to Prevent Impaired Driving
An expansion of the AAA Tow to Go program will be activated specifically for 2026 NCAA Men’s College World Series, June 12 - 22. With over 300,000 baseball fans and visitors expected in the region, AAA is offering this service to prevent crashes and save lives by keeping impaired drivers off the road.
“Impaired driving significantly increases the likelihood of a traffic crash. said Brian Ortner, spokesman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “We want to remind fans to plan ahead and choose a designated driver, stay where they’re celebrating, or arrange other safe transportation, but if you find yourself without a sober way home during the tournament, call AAA and we’ll get both you and your ride somewhere safe.”

Partnership with Law Enforcement for Other Roadside Service Needs

In addition to the importance of a safe ride home, AAA will again be working with law enforcement to assist fans with additional courtesy roadside assistance needs [jumpstart, unlock, tire change, fuel delivery (up to two gallons)] Any fan in need of assistance is encouraged to reach out to a law enforcement representative to initiate and coordinate the response from AAA.
“For the past 22 years, AAA has been pleased to provide this service to fans in need,” stated Nick Buhrman, Director of Automotive Services for AAA-The Auto Club Group. “This valuable assistance is helping motorists get safely back on the road. The inclusion of Tow to Go it’s just one more way we can demonstrate genuine Nebraska hospitality to those visiting our great state.”
