AAA Brings TSA PreCheck® Enrollment Event to Boynton Beach

Local residents can apply Sept. 15–18 at the AAA Boynton Beach branch

AAA – The Auto Club Group is making it easier for Palm Beach County residents to enroll in TSA PreCheck® by hosting an enrollment event at its Boynton Beach branch. The event is open to the public, and AAA membership is not required. Appointments are strongly encouraged and can be scheduled in advance.

The enrollment event gives travelers a convenient way to apply for the expedited screening program close to home, eliminating the need for a trip to the airport. The enrollment fee is $76.75 and includes a five-year TSA PreCheck® membership for approved applicants.

The event is open to everyone, and we encourage people to schedule an appointment in advance.”

TSA PreCheck® members receive expedited security screening in dedicated lanes at airports across the country. Participants typically do not need to remove shoes, belts or light jackets, or take laptops and 3-1-1 liquids out of their carry-on bags. TSA reports that about 99% of TSA PreCheck® passengers wait less than 10 minutes at security checkpoints.

How do you enroll in TSA PreCheck®?

Applicants should submit an online application and schedule an appointment at the AAA Boynton Beach branch. During the in-person appointment, enrollment representatives check documents, collect fingerprints and take a photograph. The appointment typically takes about 10 minutes.

Travelers should review the enrollment website before their appointment to determine which documents they need to bring.
