AAA Donates $45,000 in Traffic Safety Grants to Florida First Responders

Now accepting applications from schools and charities

2020 has been a tough year for everyone and no one knows that more than our first responders. In order to help improve traffic safety across Florida during this trying time, AAA – The Auto club Group opened its traffic safety grant program early for Florida's first responders.

After judging 118 applications, AAA awarded a total of $45,000 to five fire departments and seven law enforcement agencies across the state. The grants will fund an array of safety tools from crash rescue equipment to state-of-the-art drugged driving enforcement devices as well as programs aimed at teen drivers – those at the highest risk for crashes.
