AAA Funds Event for Underserved Students Interested in Law Enforcement

Attendees will process a simulated crime scene and car crash

WHAT: Reporters are invited to an event for underserved kids, who will get hands-on experience in what it's like to be a law enforcement officer. This includes processing a simulated crime scene and inspecting vehicles involved in a real crash.

Students will:

  • Process a simulated crime scene and car crash
  • Inspect vehicles involved in an actual crash
  • Interview witnesses
  • Present their findings and determine who was at fault

WHERE: Guaranteed Rate Field (White Sox parking lot) Lot G, 333 W. 5th Street, Chicago, Illinois. 9:30-10:30 am

WHO: The event is made possible by a grant from AAA – The Auto Club Group. ACG donated the money to the Traffic Crash Reconstruction & Roadway Safety Program, which is formed by a partnership between the NOBLE Chicago-Metro Chapter and Illinois State Police. The partnership aims to help children from underserved communities explore potential career opportunities.

Students attending the event are associated with 3 Seeds, which helps students attain life goals beyond their high school diploma and exposes students to various professional experiences and occupations.

Understanding that students come from many different home environments and life situations 3 Seeds look to support students outside of the classroom and help attain their life goals beyond a high school diploma.
