AAA Hosts TSA PreCheck Enrollment Event in Venice

AAA - The Auto Club Group is making it easier for local residents to enroll in TSA PreCheck® by hosting an enrollment event at its Venice branch. The event is open to the public, and AAA membership is not required. Appointments are strongly encouraged and can be scheduled in advance.

The enrollment event gives travelers a convenient way to apply for the expedited screening program close to home. The enrollment fee is $76.75 and provides five years of TSA PreCheck® benefits for approved applicants.

TSA PreCheck® members receive expedited security screening in dedicated lanes at airports across the country. Participants typically do not need to remove shoes, belts or light jackets, and they can leave laptops and 3-1-1 liquids in their carry-on bags. TSA reports that about 99% of TSA PreCheck® passengers wait less than 10 minutes at security checkpoints.

How can I register for a TSA PreCheck® event at AAA?

Applicants should submit an online application and schedule an appointment at the AAA Venice branch. During the in-person appointment, enrollment representatives check documents, collect fingerprints and take a photograph. The appointment typically takes about 10 minutes.
