AAA Lowers Home and Auto Insurance Rates in Florida
The Auto Club Group (ACG) has already lowered its AAA-branded home and auto insurance rates for Florida policyholders in 2025, and more savings are on the way.
Since January 2025, ACG has received regulatory approval for three separate rate decreases for auto insurance policies and one for home insurance, all of which are now in effect and available to both new and existing policyholders. These reductions have lowered auto premiums by more than 15% and home premiums by 5%, benefiting over 139,000 AAA policyholders and generating more than $70 million in annual savings statewide. Individual savings may vary depending on policy details.
In October, ACG filed a fourth round of rate reductions for Florida auto policies. If approved, those adjustments would take effect in January 2026 for new business and March 2026 for renewals.
These reductions reflect broad improvements in Florida’s insurance market, driven by legal reforms enacted in late 2022 and 2023, which have helped stabilize claims costs.
