The fast-growing AAA club, The Auto Club Group (ACG), continues its expansion with the announcement today that AAA Colorado has become part of the ACG family. This merger will enable ACG to continue to provide the best experience for AAA members, customers and its employees.

With Colorado part of The Auto Club Group, the AAA club now serves more than 14 million members and has 10,200 employees. The Auto Club Group's service area now includes Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, most of Illinois and Minnesota, a portion of Indiana, and the province of Quebec. AAA Carolinas merged with ACG earlier this year.

"This merger demonstrates ACG's financial and organizational strength and signals a bright future ahead for our combined organization and those we serve," said Joseph J. Richardson, Jr., President and CEO of The Auto Club Group. "By aligning our clubs' unique strengths and core values of always doing what's right for our members, we'll be able to provide a wide array of best-in-class products and services focused on improving the member experience and enhancing the careers of our dedicated team members."

The Auto Club Group, with a headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, and regional headquarters in Tampa, Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina and a planned regional headquarters in Denver, is a forward-thinking leader in the AAA federation well known for its robust insurance, travel and financial services operations. Prior to joining ACG, AAA Colorado was an independent AAA club with excellent member growth and satisfaction. Together, the clubs share a strong commitment to improving the member experience through innovation and service, all while providing growth opportunities for their workforce. AAA Colorado's nearly 100 years of serving Colorado now joins more than a century-long legacy of community service within The Auto Club Group.

"Doing right by this great state has been our driving principle at AAA Colorado since 1922," said outgoing AAA Colorado President & CEO Linda Cavanagh. "Now, with The Auto Club Group, we'll be able to make an even greater impact in the communities we serve, and build meaningfully upon our ability to shape Colorado's future – just as we've always done. It's been a privilege to lead AAA Colorado to this exciting point in our history, and I'm confident even brighter days are ahead as an important part of ACG."

The combined organization will provide membership, roadside assistance, auto, home and life insurance, travel and financial services to its members.
