TN Gas Prices Fall a Penny
Tennessee drops to 7th least expensive market in the nation
NASHVILLE, Tenn., (October 28, 2024) — Gas prices across the state continued their gradual decline over last week, falling a penny on average. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.78 which is a penny more expensive than one month ago but 33 cents less than one year ago.
"We're still seeing lower crude oil prices in the market, which likely means continued lower prices at the pump for Tennesseans," said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA - The Auto Club Group. "While we can't rule fluctuation out completely, tepid gasoline demand and low oil costs should help to keep pump prices low in the short term."

Today's National gas price average is $3.13, which is 9 cents less expensive than one month ago and 37 cents less than one year ago.
